Harvest Point Worship Design Team The Worship Design Team at Harvest Point plans the worship services at Harvest Point. We try to point people to Jesus each and every worship hour in fresh and exciting ways. We do so by: Praying -- asking God how can we reach people for Jesus? Listening - allowing Him to answer and give us ideas. Executing - making sure the ideas are implemented in worship. Each week we meet together to discuss where we feel God is leading us in worship. The team brainstorms about possible dramas, skits, music, dance, videos, art, scripture, host pieces -- all sorts of mediums to help reiterate our pastor's message and reach people for Jesus. We even write a lot of what we do, so it is original. Once our plans are set and parts are written, we ask others to help us. We ask for hosts, soloists, characters for our dramas, people to help with communion, people to build sets, and all that is necessary to bring our contemporary worship service to life on Sunday. Then we meet with everyone who has a part for a practice run through and try to ensure things run smoothly for our worship time together. Being on the Worship Design Team is an awesome responsibility, yet it is exciting and fun. It is a responsibility we can't take lightly, because we realize that many people give a church one chance to make an impression; if we blow it, that person may not come our way again, but if we make a good impression that person could become part of the Body of Christ!
