Harvest Point Outreach Team Our outreach ministry and misions at Harvest Point are based on the words of Chirst found in Matthew 25:31-46. We simply wish to be found serving. We truly care to reach out to a hurting and dying world to reclaim that which islost unto God, at the same time guiding "the least" of the world back to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. How far will we go serve? Just before Jesus ascended to heaven He told his followers, "When the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will be witnesses in Jerusalem (Henry County), Samaria (surrounding metro counties), and to the ends of the earth." -- Acts 1:8 Henry County "Helping in His Name" Food Pantry Volunteer on Thursdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Bring non-perishables to church. Open to individuals, groups, and families. Contact the church office at 770.914.0304. "A Friend's House" Emergency Shelter Train to volunteer directly with children. Assist with monthly meal. Help with special one-time needs. Contact Kay McCullough at 770.389.8212. Jail Ministry Assist with religious services and counseling. Provide Bibles and assistance to inmate families. Witness to commuters and travlers. Witness to travelers at the airport. Ages 16 and up. Requires physical agility to run between trains. Contact Michael Coffey at 770.900.5090 for more information. Homeless Ministry Participate in street ministry. Provie meals, blankets, cloting, and hygiene kits. Provide Bibles. Provide religious services and music ministry on the streets. Feed one or hundreds. Donate items forthe hygiene kits. Contact church office at 770.914.0304. To the Ends of the Earth Cell Phones for Soldiers Bring your old cell phones. Some will be recycle for senior citizens. Some will go overseas as pepaid calling cards for soldiers. Contact Pamela Coffey at 770.474.9770. Shipments of food, clothing, medicine, and medical equipment Help assemble truckloads and overseas containers. We ship to victims of natural disasters and poverty around the world. We seek to serve the orphaned children of the world. We operate a food and medical arehouse.
