Dear Children’s Parents and Team,

 

We have surely had a great time being together in worship for the last several weeks, but on this coming Sunday, as well as in the foreseeable future, we will be having all children, 5^th grade age and younger check into the children’s area and remain in that area for our 10:30 a.m. worship time.   We have music just for them and a time to introduce the day’s lesson that will help Sunday mornings be less rushed. 

 

Since we got lots of positive feedback about having the children in worship during the summer, we will try to have them present out front on a somewhat regular basis in order to give us all a chance to be together as the church.  Please feel free to email me, call or email Steven or Jason Anderson if you wish for your voice to be heard with regards to this change.

 

It is our hope to begin having regular practices for our children’s praise team again, on Sunday mornings.  Please contact me (see info below) if you are interested in this opportunity for your child.

 

On a personal note, I am working full time now, at Ella’s new school and am staying very busy, so can use all of your help more than ever to make Sunday mornings and special events run smoothly.  If you can help, just email or call or see me!!!

Dear Parents and friends:

 

Just a reminder note: the children will be meeting on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt Carmel Park for a very informal play date and picnic. 

 

Please come and bring a picnic if you wish, also consider bringing a riding toy, bike or skates for your child to play with, there is a really nice little track around the playground area.

 

Feel free to invite anyone you wish.  In the case of bad weather, I will understand if you don’t make it!!!

There is tons of NEWS and I want everyone to be abreast, so here goes:

·        This Sunday June 10^th will be promotion Sunday and we will enjoy having the kids and the adults together in worship during the 10:30 a.m. time slot.  Please still check your child in at the security desk like always, but then let them worship with you until they are released during the service.  Lisa needs the complete name of all children who will be starting 3^rd grade this August, as they will receive a bible!!!

Welcome to the Starting Point Blog where we can share news and information for all to see.  Please email lisabates@bellsouth.net to have anything reviewed that you might like to post!

We have recently completed our Harvest Celebration for 2006 and we had a wonderful time.  Once again it was at our church building and we had lots of food, music, fun and CANDY!  We now are looking forward to the Return to Bethlehem production coming up on December 7^th, 8^th, and 9^th from 6:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and hope everyone who is a part of the body at Harvest Point will be involved in some way!  Don’t miss it.  Let me know if I can ever serve you.  lisa
